Biology/Ecology/Environmental Science Research Assistant

Student researchers will work in the Jamieson Biodiversity Lab (www.jamiesonlab.com) in the Department of Biological Sciences at Oakland University, conducting field and laboratory research related to plant and insect ecology and environmental science. Research activities involve collection and analysis of plant, pollinator, and environmental data. Student researchers will gain knowledge, skills, and experience in the fields of botany, entomology, and ecology.
Work schedules are flexible with 10-20 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have some experience in biology, ecology, botany, and/or entomology. Additionally experience in GIS, statistics, and/or photography is desired but not required.
