Equipment/Hardware Engineer (Part-Time Internship)

Position Description

The Equipment/Hardware Engineer reports to the Vice President of Production and provides hands-on assistance in designing, assembling, and modifying equipment used in the development, use, and maintenance of the company’s R&D laboratory and its pilot manufacturing line for making semiconductor grade diamond materials and for carrying out the tasks associated within the company’s federal R&D projects. This position is a part-time internship with opportunities of extension or translation to a full-time opportunity

Requirements for Part Time Internships:

• You are a student pursuing a college degree in any STEM-related discipline
• You can work well within a fast paced startup environment
• You have at least one month of experience in working in a high technology laboratory
• You have at least two years of CAD experience
• Machine shop experience is preferred but not required
