Sales and Marketing Internship - Sales Office Grand Rapids

Marketing Intern

REHAU Incorporated, a leading international polymer manufacturer, is seeking a highly motivated summer Sales and Marketing Intern at our Grand Rapids, MI location. As a REHAU intern you will gain valuable experience in sales and marketing, which will help prepare you to enter any fast paced work environment. This position supports our Furniture Division that provides innovative surface solutions for high-end kitchens and unique components for the office furniture industry. This 12-week paid summer internship is an outstanding opportunity for a college or university student pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Due to the pandemic, this internship will be available as hybrid this summer.
 
Job responsibilities for the Sales and Marketing Intern include:
 
  • Research new prospective customers through Salesforce.com (our Customer Information System) and EDA databases
  • Contact prospective customers and enter data into Salesforce.com
  • Route qualified prospective customers to the appropriate Account Representative or distributor for further assistance
  • Support the marketing team with market research, focus groups and customer surveys
  • Research potential architects and designers for specifying REHAU products
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, managing UPS shipments, mailing invoices, updating SAP, and mailing product samples.


Marketing Intern Qualifications
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Service oriented and service driven
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • Works independently, as well as in a team environment
