About the Company

We offer a product line that is specifically designed to keep metal parts rust-free, during shipping, storage and even in-process. ARMOR VCI Nanotechnology™ is the formal name for our “secret recipe” of rust-preventing vapor corrosion inhibitors. We combine our VCI with materials such as paper or poly film to create packaging supplies with the added benefit of rust prevention. When a metal part is wrapped or enclosed in an ARMOR VCI product, the VCIs activate to create a blanket of protection on the surface that repels rust and all it’s evil intentions. ARMOR sells through a global industrial distribution network to key end users including GM, Ford, Chrysler, Rolls-Royce, John Deere, Cummins, IBM, Magna, Bosch, Disney, Nissan, Volvo, Stihl and the U.S. Military. All ARMOR products are clean, safe and easy to use. ARMOR was founded in 1979 and our goal is to Take the Work Out of Our Customers’ Workday.
About the Job
If you are passionate, have exceptional people skills, are talented and interested in marketing and are detail oriented with a self-starter attitude, ARMOR has a place for you to share your talents while you become an integral part of a company on the rise. ARMOR has an opening for an intern/co-op student within our marketing team. This position offers exposure and involvement in the marketing activities of one of Michigan’s Coolest Places to Work™ and is located in Howell, MI at our award winning HQ. Hours are flexible but does require at least two days per week physically in the office (preferably three) to be able to ship out marketing campaigns (Average 1-3 hours)
Key Duties:
- Sample prep and marketing mailings
- Data Entry and Contact Clean-up of Microsoft CRM system
- Assist in creative development of marketing campaigns and programs
- Assist with Social Media Facebook, YouTube, Instagram
- Coordination of Marketing and Email Campaigns
- Help develop website content and updates
- Support ARMOR newsletter through writing, readership/distribution development
- Assist in tradeshow/event planning and promotion
- Other duties as assigned – in general this position will be asked to do whatever it takes to help make ARMOR the premier brand in our industry
Job Details
This position is located in Howell, Michigan at our company headquarters. School hours are flexible with a minimum of 10 hours per week and at least two days per week in the office, preferably three. Please send cover letter and resume to HR@armorvci.com
