Tax Intern (Summer 2024) - Youngstown

Opportunity Details 

  • Internship Length:  June – Mid-August 2024 
  • Internship Schedule:  Full-time (32-40 hours/week on average) & part-time (20-25 hours/week minimum required) opportunities available 
  • Summer Pencils Down Week: One week off for all employees to recharge (subject to change; unpaid for interns) 
  • Work Location:  Youngstown, OH; Hybrid work environment (2-3 days in office/week) 
  • Responsibilities:  Perform tax compliance, return prep, research, and planning duties

Requirements 

  • Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s 
  • Major: Accounting 
  • Coursework: Successfully completed introductory and at least one intermediate accounting course before the internship program start date  

 

Preferred 

  • GPA: Minimum 3.0 
  • Journey to CPA:  Pursuing required credit hours to sit for the CPA Exam

Estimated Hourly Rate Range:  $20 - $40/hour*  

*Hourly rates offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as candidate's job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.  On an annual basis, estimated ranges are re-evaluated for upcoming early career cohorts according to market adjustments.
