Human Resources Intern

Job Description

  • Report generation as needed.
  • Keeps records of company benefit programs, insurance coverage, and personnel transactions.
  • Assist in maintaining employee and safety related training issues and needs.
  • Timely completion of performance records for deliver to members of Supervision/Management.
  • Filing and scanning of confidential employee records.
  • Assist with the various data entry projects.
  • Tracking and entry of employee attendance.
  • Preparation of documents and reports related to any Human Resource functions.
  • Participate as requested in needs analysis and attend and perform the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs identified for his/her position
  • Responsible for helping to create a culture of teamwork, open communication, trust, continuous improvement and performance with internal and external customers.
  • Perform other related duties as deemed necessary or assigned.

Qualifications

Studying toward a degree in business field.

Prefer strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.

Confidentiality with any and all company and employee correspondence.

Working knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws and safety regulations or ability to learn.

Ability to plan – determine priorities and effectively schedule work and to function in an organized manner that addresses critical issues and are supported by an effective plan.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Computer skills or ability to learn.
