Job Summary:

Support the training program for an aircraft engine overhaul shop. This consists of establishing training requirements, reporting training completions, providing orientation for new hires, providing and maintaining tools for leaders to use in the management of their training requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Support training program for the PWES aircraft engine overhaul shop.

Participate in training administration activities.

Modify the training program to align with company needs.

Administer the on-the-job training program to ensure successful on-boarding of overhaul shop technicians.

Specific projects include refining the New Hire Orientation program, revising the training program to meet company needs, and track OJTs to completion.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering. or related majors

Completed at least 2 years of a bachelor's program prior to the start of the internship, including the year currently in progress

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Project management experience

Microsoft office,

SharePoint

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
