Year-Round Sales Intern - Auburn Hills, MI

FORVIA is looking for a Year-Round Sales Intern for our Auburn Hills, MI location.

Position Summary: The role of an Intern is to aid the Business Systems Manager.  A sales intern will be expected to support all daily functions of group including cash recovery, processing of claims, purchase order tracking.  Sales intern will support the sales managers and assist as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of change management offers (piece prices, tooling, D&D) related to cost information
  • Support tool tracking for new programs in preparation for payment
  • Support the preparation of service part offers 
  • Support in preparing offers for any prototype parts derived from serial production or for special request from customer, receives and checks orders from customer, and coordinates production planning with the related plants
  • Documents claims such as production volumes significantly under forecast, non-amortized development costs or tooling costs, special requests from customer
  • Monitors / documents contract / pricing agreements with customer
  • Consolidates and prepares monthly Sales Reporting
  • Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
  • Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site

Position Specifications

Authorities: 

  • Completion of 1810 for submission to GM

Education / Experience:
