Business Development Intern

Job Title: Business Development (Vendor Relations)
Location: Remote
Type: Internship
Duration: 6 months 


Job Description: 
As a Business Development professional specializing in Vendor Relations, you will play a critical role in identifying, establishing, and nurturing partnerships with vendors to support the organization's procurement and operational needs. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure seamless supply chain management. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of vendor dynamics and industry trends.

 

Responsibilities:

• Reach out to vendors and business owners to introduce our projects and explain the benefits of partnering with us
• Negotiate discounts and special offers for our customers with various vendors
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and business partners
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of vendor offers into our system
• Prepare and deliver presentations to vendors about our project goals and objectives
• Track and report on the progress of vendor negotiations and partnerships
• Assist in organizing and attending meetings with vendors to discuss collaboration opportunities
• Provide support in resolving any issues or concerns that vendors may have.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. MBA or additional certifications in Vendor Management are a plus.
• Experience in managing expectations and delivering exceptional customer service to sponsors and partners.
• Proficiency in contract management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong networking skills with the ability to represent the organization professionally and build strategic alliances.
