Software Engineer Intern

Position Details:

The Grainger Technology Group internship is a 10-week program based in our downtown Chicago office. You will work with team members on functionality that has a direct impact to the business. Throughout the summer, there will be plenty of time for networking, professional development, and social events. At the end of the internship, you will present your work to senior leadership.

 

The internship is paid, and free housing is provided in downtown Chicago

You Will:

You will contribute your skills to a specific team and work with your intern peers on additional projects. Through your work and other development opportunities, you will grow your technical skills and understand how our technology stack empowers our business to serve our customers.

  • Develop, test, and deploy creative software solutions
  • Develop new features, identify bugfixes
  • Operate in an Agile development environment
  • Flexibility to work in an environment of constant change

You Have:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in one or more general purpose programming language
  • Expected graduation with a Bachelor's degree between Winter 2025 – Spring 2026
  • Does not require sponsorship
