Technical Operation Systems Intern

Position Overview
The Technical Operations Intern will support the continuous improvement of business processes through innovative projects and data analysis. The intern will work closely with the operations team to enhance efficiency and contribute to key projects such as the Utilities Usage AI project.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Collaborate with team members to identify inefficiencies in current business processes and propose solutions. Focus on the Utilities Usage AI project to enhance operational efficiency through data-driven insights.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize SQL Server to directly query databases and extract relevant data for analysis. Leverage Power BI to visualize data trends and support decision-making processes.
  • Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to Microsoft OS environments and provide support for Python-based applications used within the organization.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of project progress, methodologies employed, and results achieved. Prepare reports summarizing findings from data analyses.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or Management of Information Systems or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server for database management and querying.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Python programming language is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
