Supply Chain and Engineering Co-Op Internship

Title:  Supply Chain and Engineering Co-Op Fall Internship - Houston, TX

At Tenaris, we're at the forefront of innovation in the fast-paced industry of manufacturing and supplying steel pipes. We are seeking a dynamic and talented Intern to join our team!

 

The role is ON-SITE at LOCATION: Houston - Texas - USA

DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain

 

Purpose:

The internship will contribute to the Supply Chain Department processes while providing an opportunity to learn, train, and improve skills in that area to gain a profound understanding of processes, products, and services. You will work closely with our supply chain team to support various aspects of the logistics process and projects.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Help monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in process improvement projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation related to supply chain operations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Cooperating in the development of new opportunities by identifying areas for improvement.
  • Complying with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensuring adherence to all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Protecting from damage, theft, or misuse of the facilities, equipment, and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

 

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial engineering or a related field.
  • Some experience in logistics, supply chain operations, and project management is required. This can include internships, part-time jobs, or relevant coursework.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Analytical mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work part-time (less than 20 hours per week) during the school year.
