Part-Time Health Project Assistant
Type: Part-Time Health Project Assistant
Department: Foundational Medical Studies
Purpose: We are seeking an individual who will work closely with the project team and the community partners to assist with the implantation of a project aimed at increasing provider and population awareness and creating a community-informed prevention intervention.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with staff as an active member of the team
- Assist in the planning and participation of project meetings and scheduling of stakeholder interviews
- Manage the project work plan and assist with report writing
- Participate in meetings and engagement with external partners
- Gather relevant research and available data
Required Skills:
- Student working toward at least a Master’s degree in public health, Public Administration, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Basic knowledge of health promotion and public health
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Creativity in problem-solving
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
*Experience with NVivo, SPSS, and IRB applications is not required but is a plus
