Supplemental Instruction Leader
The Academic Success Center is currently hiring Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders for the Summer and Fall 2025 semesters. We are seeking undergraduate students that successfully completed the following courses at OU: ACC 2000, BIO 1002, BIO 1200, CHM 2010, CHM 2340, and CHM 2350 (summer position).
Duties:
Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders attend class, plan and conduct organized, regularly scheduled practice and review sessions focusing on course-specific content, key concepts and test preparation.
Qualifications:
- Must be a currently enrolled OU student in a degree seeking program
- Second semester freshman standing or higher
- Minimum 3.7 GPA (A-) in the course(s) you want to lead
- Expertise in the course content area
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Must be a positive role model and empathetic towards people
- Must be recommended by one OU faculty member in the subject area of the SI
