Photographer

The School of Business Administration (SBA) is seeking a creative and motivated Student Photographer to support content creation for our social media platforms. This is an as-needed position, ideal for a student looking to build their portfolio while gaining professional photography and marketing experience. Hours vary based on event needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend SBA events to capture high-quality photos for use across social media and digital platforms.
  • Create dynamic content, such as Instagram Reels, to boost engagement and storytelling.
  • Use personal photography equipment to shoot and edit content.
  • Collaborate with the SBA Marketing Team to develop creative concepts and visual content aligned with the school’s brand.
  • Generate original content ideas that highlight SBA students, faculty, events and initiatives.
  • Deliver edited photos and content in a timely manner following each event.

Skills and knowledge necessary for satisfactory performance include but are not limited to:

  • Current student with a passion for photography and content creation.
  • Access to and experience using personal photography equipment and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience photographing live events.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content best practices.
  • Proficiency with Google Drive, Docs and Calendar.
  • Regular access to computer and internet both on and off campus.
