At A-C Electric Company, we don’t just build electrical infrastructure, we build careers.
Founded in 1945, A-C Electric Company has grown from its roots in California’s Central Valley into one of California’s leading electrical contractors. Over more than 80 years, the company has continued to grow and evolve while maintaining a strong commitment to its people, relationships, quality work, and the communities we serve.
Today, A-C Electric Company delivers complex electrical projects throughout California, supported by teams across electrical construction, project management, engineering, estimating, safety, finance, supply chain, technology, and other areas of the business. Our continued growth creates opportunities for the next generation of professionals to learn the industry and build long-term careers.
For students and early-career professionals, A-C Electric Company offers the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience from the start. Whether you join us through our Summer Internship Program or begin your career in a full-time role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, build industry knowledge, and develop skills that will carry throughout your career.
Our internship program is designed to be more than a summer job. Interns are integrated into their teams while also participating in professional development, mentorship, networking, jobsite experiences, leadership exposure, community involvement, and opportunities to see how different areas of the company work together.
We are especially interested in connecting with students pursuing Construction Management, Engineering, Occupational Safety, Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business, and related fields.
At A-C Electric Company, we believe the best way to build our future is to invest in talented people early. If you’re looking for a place where you can learn, contribute, build relationships, and explore a long-term career in the construction industry, we’d love to connect with you.
Build your experience. Build your network. Build your career with A-C Electric Company.
