Reviews

Mechanical Engineering Intern

May 2024 Englewood, CO
“The thing I liked the most about this internship was that SNC paired me 1-on-1 with a level 4 mechanical engineer. He was always there to answer any questions I had and he gave me a secondary mentor that was just as helpful. Going along with the previous point, the culture was very welcoming. Even though SNC does very important and technical work I never felt like I didn't belong. Also, the internship program was very interactive. There were weekly activities and meetings that got all 50+ interns together. Some of those activities were fun, like a foam sheet glider competition, and others were more geared toward professional development. The work I did was helpful moving forward in industry and for figuring out what I want in my future career. My work was mostly in SolidWorks creating and updating drawings. I also loved being in the Denver area because I could hike every weekend!”

Technical Intern I

June 2020 Huntsville, AL
“It was a very hands-on experience. It was structured such that a small team of interns was assigned a mentor and given a primary project to work on for the summer with checkpoints and goals, and the goal was to create a product that hadn't existed before with light guidance from the mentor. ”
