Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer Intern
Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer Internship in our Buffalo, NY facility for the Summer and Fall 2025. This on-site position requires the ideal candidate to be located in the general area. This will be a full-time position for the remainder of the summer, and part time through the fall. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

As an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer Intern, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Risk assessment and Job Hazard Analysis
- Development of site-specific safety trainings
- Digitization of EHS documents
- Projects around top 5 hazards
- Ergonomic assessments
- Environmental Health and Safety program review
- Behavior-Based safety
- Other projects as needed / working alongside seasoned professionals

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Working towards Science, Engineering or Safety & Environmental degree
- Junior or Senior standing
- Have experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Have experience with data analytics
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $22.00 - $27.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials,
depending on location.
The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
