Accessing Home AmeriCorps Member
Put Your Education to Work—Make a Real Impact in Rhode Island
Are you a recent graduate passionate about affordable housing, equity, or community development? Ready to take the skills you’ve gained in the classroom and apply them to real-world challenges?
Join the Accessing Home AmeriCorps team and gain hands-on experience while making a tangible difference in people’s lives. As an AmeriCorps member serving with one of our partner organizations in Providence, RI, you’ll work directly with low-income Rhode Islanders experiencing housing instability—helping families stay in their homes and access the resources they need to thrive.
This is more than a service year—it’s a launchpad for your career in social impact, urban planning, policy, or human services. You'll develop professional experience, grow your network, and become part of a team committed to housing justice and community resilience.

In the 31 years that members have been serving with AmeriCorps, 1.8 billion hours have been served at 36,000 service locations across the country.
