About Gogentic
We’re creating an all-in-one framework that lets educators spin up adaptive courses, AI feedback loops, and data dashboards in minutes—not months. Think “Shopify for learning apps,” powered by large-language models. Our codebase is mostly TypeScript (front-end) and Python (back-end), and we use Cursor to speed up planning, code generation, and reviews.
What You’ll Work On
Core Framework – APIs and micro-services that store content, serve models, and track learner data.
Plug-in Blocks – drag-and-drop UI widgets, grading bots, analytics cards.
AI Integrations – OpenAI, open-source models, vector search, text-to-speech—pick the right tool for the job.
Dev Workflow – improve our CI, automate tests, and explore new Cursor features that cut build time.
We’re Looking For
Hands-on builders who enjoy flipping sketches into running code.
Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python (both is great, one is fine).
Curious about AI tooling; experience a plus but not required.
Ready to learn Cursor if you haven’t used it—we’ll pair you up and get you flying.
Ability to explain decisions in plain language; product sense beats rigid specs here.
(No hard years-of-experience bar, no required degrees.)
Nice-to-Have Extras (optional)
React / Next.js front-end work
FastAPI, Express, or similar back-end routes
Docker or basic cloud deploy knowledge
Ed-tech, LMS, or analytics background
How We Work
Short cycles – pick a card in Cursor’s Taskmaster, ship it, show it Friday.
Async first – meetings when needed, otherwise chat and PRs.
Remote perks – choose your gear, flexible PTO, budget for courses or conferences that level you up.
