After School Basketball Coach

Location: Multiple Bay Area Locations (East Bay, South Bay, Peninsula) 

Salary: $30–$40/hour

Type: Part-time

Schedule: 

  • Classes are 1 - 1.5 hour length.
  • Start times for classes can vary between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., depending on the school.
  • Flexible schedule, work two or more days per week from Monday through Friday.


 

Do you love basketball and have a passion for teaching kids? We’re looking for upbeat Basketball Coaches to run engaging after-school programs for elementary students ages 5–10.


 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Lead group basketball classes (8–10 students) with age-appropriate drills and games
  • Follow structured lesson plans while adding your personal coaching style
  • Set up and manage equipment before and after each class
  • Take attendance, manage sign-in/out, and communicate with parents
  • Capture class highlights through photos
  • Attend unpaid training/shadow sessions to learn our program style


 

Bonus: We are especially seeking coaches who can teach more than one sport — including Tennis Dance, Pickleball, Soccer, Yoga, PE Teacher/Olympic Hopes and Floor Hockey!


 

Requirements:


 

  • 19+ years old with reliable transportation around the Bay Area
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basketball experience (coaching or playing) preferred
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, and confident managing groups of kids
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Fully vaccinated and able to pass a background check
