Business Manager
The Business Manager at BPCE Equipment Solutions USA (BPCE ES) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our autonomous entity. The Business Management Team focuses on three key pillars:
- Business Strategy and Monitoring
- Business Support and Oversight
- Transversal Projects and Coordination
This Vice-President-level position will report directly to the CEO of BPCE Equipment Solutions USA and will play a critical role in assisting the CEO and Executive Committee (EXCO) in managing activities across these pillars.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy and Monitoring:
- Assist in the operational implementation of the business strategy in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Monitor the execution of the strategy, providing management reporting and presentations.
- Contribute to performance monitoring in partnership with the CFO.
- Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews and the annual budget process.
- Enhance commercial activity monitoring in coordination with the Deputy CEO.
- Support business development and transformation initiatives.
- Prepare management presentations.
2. Business Support and Oversight:
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the entity.
- Offer Level 1 oversight on internal legal, governance, and corporate secretary functions.
- Oversee external providers to ensure business needs are met in areas such as facility management, technical support, regulatory filings, and insurance.
- Identify inefficiencies within business operations and processes, and define and implement remediation plans.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, and assist with audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory changes.
- Coordinate internal events (e.g., town halls, team-building activities) and external engagements.
- Optimize and streamline marketing materials and processes (e.g., pitches, league tables).
3. Transversal Projects and Coordination:
- Contribute to internal projects and initiatives.
- Engage in platform or global transversal projects.
- Leverage local or global technology/digital initiatives to:
- Support business strategy and enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide management with automated monitoring dashboards (e.g., Singular/Nat1, Tableau/Power BI).
Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of small business administration.
- Autonomous, proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and synthetic thinking abilities.
- Proficient presentation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Knowledge of the leasing and equipment finance sector is a plus.
- Proficiency in French is an advantage.
The salary range for this position will be between $125,000 - $150,000. BPCE Equipment Solutions is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, and skill set, as well as other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package, and BPCE Equipment Solutions also offers a generous benefits package.
