Configuration Management Analyst I

1. Review drawings and models IAW industry CM processes and procedures to ensure accurate engineering technical baseline data packages
2. Review and update Functional, Allocated, and Product specifications/requirements
3. Review and mature program deliverables for accuracy and completeness in preparation for Configuration Control Board Directives (CCBD)
4. Support acquisition and sustainment program milestone reviews and configuration audits
5. Support DOD Digital Engineering (DE) transition efforts in Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
6. Operating in Teamcenter PLM, MBSE, Cameo, Solid Works and other CAD software tools/environments.
7. Assist customer with completion of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP), Engineering Change Orders (EO), Functional and Physical Configuration Audits FCA/PCA, etc.
8. Utilization of industry and USAF CM processes and drawing release practices are essential. Applying knowledge of military standards, CM requirements, and related ASME suites (e.g. ASME Y14.100 series, MIL-STD-100, MIL-STD-973, MIL-STD 31000B, SAE EIA-649, etc.)

Job Summary

  • Reviews Technical Data Packages (TDP) for accuracy and compliance using appropriate CM practices and quality standards.
  • Evaluate and maintains engineering baseline data for change control activity and traceability impacts. Reviews and confirms Bill of Material (BOM) data for accuracy.
  • Utilizes legacy and modern data base repositories for TDP updates.
  • Build specification and drawing tree data structure and relationships.
  • Active role in ICBM System Engineering (SE) and Integration functionalities.



Required Education, Experience, & Skills
 

  • High School Diploma and 4 years work experience.
  • General knowledge of the ICBM engineering field.
  • Experience in reviewing engineering drawings for completeness and accuracy.
  • Experience with MIL-AERO specifications/requirements reviews.
  • Extensive skills with the Microsoft Office tools such Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Secret clearance


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
 

  • A DOD Secret security clearance.
  • Plans, prepares, reviews, and coordinates ICBM program and project documentation such as engineering drawings, product specifications, and configuration change to meet USAF customer requirements. Supports program milestone events with occasional travel required. Provides the USAF customer Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) as required to ensure the engineering technical baseline documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • This role will provide Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services and technical leadership in both legacy and digital environments for ICBM hardware and software CM. Program lifecycle activities are managed IAW the ICBM CM plan, ASME suites, command level operating instructions, MIL-STDs, and various other industry standards. Maintaining and controlling the ICBM technical baseline through Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) inputs to the engineering group is an essential work product.
  • Excellent computer skills with the MS Office suite to prepare appropriate metrics, reports, and documents is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing while functioning within a close team environment.
  • Familiarity with CAD applications, preferably NX and CATIA.




Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $57866 - $98372
