Administrative Intern


Hutchinson Antivibration Systems North America operations is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We specialize in NVH (noise, vibration, and harness) solutions in the automotive industry using a variety of rubber, elastomeric, and thermoplastic and polymer materials. We offer full custom design and development of our products performing full validation through prototype and production launch of our products at our Tech Center located in Grand Rapids, MI.  We are part of a global organization with design, development and manufacturing capabilities worldwide.

Your Function

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Intern to support our operations. This internship is ideal for a student with an engineering / business administration background who is passionate about administration, digital transformation, and innovation. You will play a key role in organizing internal functions, supporting events, coordinating travel, and contributing to a variety of strategic projects throughout the year.

Your Main Missions

  • Support the team by performing a variety of administrative tasks.
  • Assist in setting up and coordinating internal events, meetings, and workshops.
  • Help plan and manage travel arrangements for team members, including booking transportation and accommodations.
  • Contribute to digitalization and technology innovation initiatives.
  • Work on a series of structured projects over the course of the internship (with a monthly  review).
  • Maintain organized documentation and support internal communication efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve administrative processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation in 1 year minimum from the start of the internship.
  • Native English speaker or fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and process improvement.
  • Comfortable managing logistics and coordinating schedules.
  • Team collaboration and cross-functional communication

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Work Environment: On-site
  • Hours : 30 -40 hours per week
