Overview:

The Logistics and Supply Chain Emerging Professional will be responsible for handling email communications and building relationships with vendors. This includes sourcing new vendors to support the organization's needs. The Emerging Professional will also assist in researching opportunities relevant to Stone Global Realty, helping to secure resources that further the organization’s mission. The Emerging Professional will also support Stone Global Realty directors by coordinating the delivery of supplies to various organizations and groups in need. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in logistics, supply chain management, and vendor relations while making a meaningful impact.

Compensation: Unpaid

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Monthly Commitment: Every 4th Saturday, 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Hours: 20 hours

Qualifications:

The Emerging Professional should have:

Ability to lift over 40lbs.

Excellent time management skills.

Excellent record-keeping and management skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Can work under pressure, flexible, and detail-oriented.

Tech-savvy, creative, critical thinker, problem solver.

Must be responsive, organized, and reliable.

Proven ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.

Able to work and learn with practitioners and multiple types of people.

Have strong mental fortitude.

Able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Proficient in English, both writing and speaking.

Comfortable with on-camera presence, including participation in live streams, photos, and video content for social media and promotional use.

Experience:

The Emerging Professional must:

Have a high school diploma.

Be working towards or interested in pursuing a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Operations, Communications, or any related field.

Have the ability and license to drive.

Be able to drive and deliver across many locations.

Responsibilities:

The Emerging Professional is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Delivering goods and supplies to desired and designated locations.

Communicating and managing supply chain and logistics.

Helping manage scheduling for deliveries and pick-ups.

Collecting and organizing goods and supplies.

Managing and recording collected and delivered goods and supplies.

Maintaining and creating relations with organizations and businesses for delivery and pick-up.

Researching and categorizing goods and supplies to serve specific needs and communities.

Tracking monetary costs and values of transportation for deliveries and pick-ups.

Running reports on daily/weekly/monthly expenses for deliveries and pick-ups of supplies and goods (including transportation fees, fuel costs, and labor).

Monitoring and managing collection locations and organizations.

Analyzing the needs of the community with current resources and helping develop ideas to fulfill those needs.

Working with other organizations and volunteers to transport and hand out goods and supplies to individuals in need.

Lifting and transporting goods and supplies to designated transportation operations.

Lifting and transporting goods and supplies to designated areas and locations.

Filing and compiling data.

Handling email communications with vendors and other stakeholders.

Building and cultivating relationships with vendors.

Sourcing new vendors to support organizational needs.

Conducting research on supply chain and logistics-related grants for the organization.

Assisting in identifying and pursuing relevant grant opportunities.

Networking and community service opportunities sponsored by Stone Global Realty.

Attending every 4th Saturday of each month for the Serving Hope event (6 AM–1 PM, Community Service).
