Supplier Quality Engineering Intern (9321)

Qorvo’s Supplier Quality Engineering Internships are offered in our Global Operations business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Support Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team with daily quality management tasks for purchased materials and suppliers.
- Assist in developing and improving supplier quality management systems and plans to reduce incoming inspections without impacting product quality.
- Participate in supplier audits and help manage supplier control charts and Certificate of Analysis (COA) data to identify trends or non-compliance.
- Verify material defects using microscopes and measurement tools to ensure parts meet drawing specifications.
- Review, organize, and archive supplier documentation and quality deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update system tools to keep supplier data, and reports current and well-organized.
- Capture and analyze defect data to define acceptance and rejection criteria for incoming inspections.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support product development and production.
- Support management of Supplier Quality metrics, specifications, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a BS or MS degree in an Engineering field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Good understanding of statistical process control (SPC) methods.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general computer skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter, team player, and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
- Attention to detail.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $31.00/hr - $42.00/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
