Student Intern - Cyber Security

What You'll Do

 

We are currently recruiting for summer 2026 internship opportunities in Cyber Security. The Internship Program is a 10-12 week program that offers challenging assignments, projects, and career development workshops to enhance your professional growth. You will also earn a competitive salary based on your discipline and academic class status.

The internship position will remain open until all candidates have been identified.

 

Duties of this internship include the following:

  • Assist with the development of system authorization documentation
  • Perform security control testing
  • Create, review, and edit System Security Plans and attachments
  • Input, verify, manage, and report system security information to and from eGRC RSA Archer
  • Support Information System Security Officers and Security Control Assessors to enable and sustain a protect and defend posture across all enterprise systems

 

The 2026 intern program is scheduled to start on May 18, 2026 and conclude on July 23, 2026.

Minimum Job Requirements

 

  • To be considered for the Intern position, you must be working toward or have completed a degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or other related major. Students who have graduated are eligible up to two years post-graduation. In addition, you must have completed (at a minimum) your sophomore year in college, have an overall GPA (grade point average) of 2.8/4.0 or above, and be a United States Citizen.
  • A completed online application is required. You must include a resume and current transcript. Ensure that your graduation date and GPA are listed on your resume. Failure to attach a resume and transcript will eliminate you from the selection process.
  • Understanding of cyber and information technology principles, concepts, protocols, and methodologies.   
  • Ability to present technical information clearly and effectively through the oral and written word as well as diagrams and charts. 
  • Knowledge and skills for using Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Job Requirements

 

  • Knowledge of information technology (IT) security principles and methods.
