Social Work Internship

Purpose of the Role
As a Research Intern/Volunteer, you gather, analyze, and share knowledge to support Unity Bands’ operations, fundraising, and program development. This role ensures the organization makes informed decisions by providing relevant data, insights, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Analysis

Conduct background research on healthcare worker needs, community resources, and nonprofit fundraising models.

Develop reports, briefs, and presentations that guide fundraising strategies and organizational planning.

Knowledge Management

Maintain accurate and organized research documentation on Unity Bands’ Google Drive.

Assist in creating surveys or data-collection tools to capture healthcare worker and volunteer perspectives.

Collaboration & Support

Work with the Operations Department to provide insights that strengthen fundraising campaigns.

Share research outcomes with committee leads and report findings to the Research Chair and Board of Directors.
