Key Responsibilities
Develop semiconductor process simulations and models in Matlab
Develop process models for PVD, CVD, CMP, plasma etch, etc.
Create and improve etch models for various chemistries, ensuring accurate simulation of real-world conditions.
Create and improve lithography models, including coat, expose and develop. Implement Ray tracing simulations.
Enhance existing simulation models to better match on-wafer performance.
Characterize and analyze semiconductor processes using advanced modeling and statistical methods.
Collaborate with process engineers and integrators to support process development and optimization.
Document and present modeling results to cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
Working toward a degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Solid understanding of the level set method and its application in process modeling.
Strong knowledge of plasma physics and semiconductor device physics.
Advanced proficiency in Matlab, including GUI development.
Familiarity with Python for scientific computing and data analysis.
Strong communication/listening skills
Ability to work autonomously
Additional Preferred Skills
Experience with semiconductor equipment and fabrication processes (lithography, PVD, CVD, plasma etch, etc.).
Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, process modeling, and physics-based simulation.
Exposure process and material characterization
Skills in statistics and data analytics for process evaluation.
AI/ ML skills is a plus

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $31.00/hr - $42.00/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
