Social Media Marketing Intern

(Unpaid - College Credit, Remote, 5 Hours/Week | 1 Hour/Day)

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Social Media / Marketing Intern to help maintain and grow our brand presence on social media. This is an unpaid internship designed for college credit, requiring a commitment of approximately 5 hours per week. You’ll work remotely and gain real-world experience in digital marketing, brand communication, and content strategy as part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor social media channels for tags, mentions, and relevant conversations
  • Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and brand-aligned way
  • Engage thoughtfully with community posts to build visibility and trust
  • Reshare user-generated content, trending posts, and cultural moments
  • Source and post light engagement content such as memes, quotes, and relevant articles
  • Help maintain and evolve our empowering, women-focused brand voice
  • Collaborate on content calendars and participate in weekly check-ins

What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university (marketing, communications, or related field preferred)
  • Eligible to receive college credit for an internship
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram & LinkedIn)
  • Great written communication skills
  • Interest in brand voice, storytelling, and community engagement
  • Self-motivated, responsive, and reliable

Nice to Have (but not required):

  • Experience with Canva, basic video editing, or analytics tools
  • Familiarity with trends in digital culture, memes, and influencer marketing
