Precision Planting Software Development Intern

Precision Planting, a leading provider of precision agriculture technology, is seeking interns to help develop our growing suite of on-equipment control, cloud, and mobile products. At Precision Planting, we focus on helping farmers across the world be more efficient - growing yields, reducing inputs, and saving time. Interns at Precision Planting play an active role in product development and help solve real-world problems. You will spend time authoring code to build out new product capability and have the opportunity to see your work used by customers.

Responsibilities:

• Developing new features and capabilities for our software & electronics product suite 
• Climbing on agricultural equipment to validate and experience our products first-hand 
• Solving complex technical problems

Required Skills/Experience:

• Currently enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a BS or MS Computer Science program or equivalent 
• Software development experience in C/C++ 
• Experience using Linux 
• Strong communication skills and willingness to be a flexible team player 
• Currently authorized to work in the United States 
• Personal transportation 
• Willingness to relocate to the Peoria, IL area
