2026 Summer Internship - Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance - NC
Your role:
Interested in working financial services and have a keen eye for detail, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?
We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program within our Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance Department.
You’ll get to:
• support and liaise with members of the team on regional/global projects
• collaborate with global colleagues to ensure that best practices are shared
• assist and advise business areas on laws, regulations and rules that govern our day-to-day activities
• evaluate processes and controls designed to ensure our businesses are operating in line with regulatory expectations and requirements
• assist in preparing regular reports on risk metrics, incidents and key risk indicators
• stay current on latest cyber and tech threats, risk management techniques, and regulatory changes by conducting independent research
Your team:
You’ll be working in Group Compliance and Regulatory Governance located in Raleigh. We build trust, help safeguard our business, and strive for new ways to proactively identify and control existing and emerging risks. The team has a number of key responsibilities including operational risk, compliance, financial crime, government and regulatory affairs as well as investigations.
Your expertise:
We’re looking for a candidate who:
• is graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• currently pursuing a degree in business, finance, computer science, math, or any other STEM education
• has an interest understanding, dissecting and analyzing data to drive decisions and make recommendations
• an interest in financial crime prevention, risk, government and regulatory affairs or cybersecurity concepts
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your Program:
During your 10-week paid internship, you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm.
You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
