2026 Summer Internship - Chief Operating Office - NC

Your role:

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program within our Regional President’s Office, Chief Operating Office. 

You’ll get to:

• work on various projects related to business management across different teams, including tasks like planning, organizing, controlling and developing strategies for the business division
• learn about and monitor known risks, while also discovering and defining unknown risks
• drive the continuous enhancement of risk-related systems and infrastructure and ensure risk framework aligns with compliance and regulatory requirements 
• leverage AI tools within risk management platforms for operational efficiency
• help manage changes as part of the integration and support business transformation

Your team:

You’ll be working in Group Regional President’s Chief Operating Office, located in Raleigh, NC. The team is responsible for overall business management and integration efforts, as well as risk and regulatory matters. Your work will span business management projects that encourage planning, organizing, controlling, and developing strategies for our division, offering a comprehensive perspective on how risk and business operations intertwine within a leading global financial institution.

Your expertise:

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• will graduate between December 2026 and June 2027
• has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above
• is well organized and creative, with a flair for numbers and data 
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We welcome all majors, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. Your program:

During your 10-week paid internship, you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. 
You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you. 
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
