A Day in the Life of an Equity & Fixed Income Intern
Western & Southern is looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting our Equity and Fixed Income Department in various projects throughout the year. You will be working closely with our team to analyze companies from an equity or credit perspective, using tools such as Bloomberg (no prior experience required) and data from in-house and third-party research providers.
To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. Furthermore, you should be prepared to spend a significant amount of time reading reports and synthesizing data, under the direction of a senior Portfolio Manager or Senior Analyst.
Duration of Internship: Summer 2026
Intern Duties and Responsibilities:
• Fulfilling tasks set out by supervisors from several departments.
• Attending meetings and taking notes.
• Performing research at a supervisor's request.
• Analyzing third party reports.
Intern Requirements:
• A student whose transcript reflects a freshman or sophomore status.
• Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask.
