Software Engineer Internship - Summer 2026

As a Software Engineering Intern, you'll help create and support applications used by Casey's business units and Store Team Members. You'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively on a variety of initiatives in an Agile work environment. You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) of an application from design to deployment. Technologies include Azure, React/Flutter, C#, .Net, Git, and SQL. The convenience store industry (and Casey's) has broad opportunities to support a variety of teams including Store Operations, Data, API, Mobile, Quality, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, E-commerce, Endpoint Mgmt., and Fuel Distribution.

Internships are onsite at our Store Support Center in Ankeny, Iowa, where you'll volunteer within our community, attend social outings, learn from our senior leadership team, and make some pizzas, of course!

Requirements:

  • Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field (STEM).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
