MillerKnoll’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their careers. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college intern to join our warehouse operations team with a focus on labor optimization. This internship offers hands-on experience in supply chain and logistics while contributing to meaningful improvements in workforce efficiency, productivity, and operational performance

- Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify labor inefficiencies
- Assist in developing labor utilization reports and performance dashboards
- Support implementation of lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize task assignments and shift planning
- Research and pilot digital tools or automation opportunities to reduce manual labor
- Document findings and present actionable recommendations to leadership
What You Bring

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in creating and delivering effective presentations
- Ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at various levels

- Highly collaborative; works effectively across diverse teams and backgrounds
- Strong interest in operations, logistics, and process improvement
Education
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
- You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the US and will not require sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment (standing, walking, lifting up to 49 lbs occasionally)
