Senior Software Engineer/Golang Developer

 

About your role:
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

 

What you'll do:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • 3+ years of experience in Golang, Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL databases
  • 3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
  • 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

 

What would be great to have:

  • Financial industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Golang programming.
  • 4+ years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • 3+ years of experience with integration models and workflows.
  • 4+ years of experience in project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
