About the Summer Internship Program

Our 10–12 week Summer Internship Program is more than just a summer job — it’s your launchpad into an exciting career journey. From day one, you’ll dive into meaningful projects that make a real impact. You’ll take part in hands-on workshops, join Leadership Lab talks with senior leaders, and connect with former interns who have built full-time careers at Iron Mountain. Along the way, you’ll gain a mentor, grow your network, and be part of a supportive cohort of interns across the business. The summer wraps up with a capstone presentation where you’ll showcase your work to business leaders and celebrate everything you’ve accomplished together.

What You’ll Do

As an Iron Mountain Intern, your day-to-day will vary depending on your team, but you’ll have opportunities to:

  • Apply classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges
  • Contribute to team projects that create measurable impact
  • Build technical and professional skills aligned with your field of study
  • Learn directly from managers, mentors, and senior leaders
  • Collaborate with peers across functions in a hybrid work environment
  • Present your work to leaders at the end of the summer
