Human Resources Intern
We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Intern to support our Paperless Project—an initiative to transition HR processes and records to a fully digital environment. In addition to project-specific work, this internship will provide broad exposure to core HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in auditing and digitizing existing HR files and processes to identify paper-based workflows.
Collaborate with HR staff to streamline and document new digital procedures.
Research best practices for secure digital storage and retrieval of HR information.
Support HR team members with day-to-day activities such as recruiting coordination, onboarding documentation, employee events, and compliance tracking.
Help create user guides, training materials, and communication plans to support the paperless transition.
Participate in team meetings, shadow HR professionals across multiple disciplines, and provide status updates on project milestones.
Qualifications:
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS or document management systems a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Interest in process improvement, change management, and learning about multiple areas of HR.
