Faculty Computer Science/Information Systems
The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems in the Sanders College of Business and Technology at the University of North Alabama invites applications for three tenure-track faculty positions beginning in August 2026 in one of the following disciplines: Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, and/or Information Technology. All undergraduate programs are ABET accredited. Responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate teaching, on-campus and online course delivery, academic advising, accreditation and assessment, scholarly research, and university service. Involvement in professional organizations and engagement with the professional business community and the computing industry are encouraged. An earned doctorate in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology is required. ABDs will be considered if all degree requirements are met prior to appointment.

Transcripts with a designation of “Issued to Student”, or with the student name listed as the recipient will not be considered official.
