Overview: ULimo is a ride-sharing party bus startup redefining group transportation for students and event-goers. As we scale nationwide, our mobile app plays a key role in delivering seamless booking, payments, and customer experiences—powered by innovative AI integrations for smarter, faster development.

We’re seeking motivated Native App Developer Interns who are harnessing cutting-edge AI to elevate mobile development. If you're using AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or LLMs for code generation, automated UI prototyping, and intelligent debugging in React Native projects, join us to apply those skills to ULimo’s active mobile app. This isn't a “build from scratch” project—you’ll contribute to an existing product, enhancing features with AI-assisted workflows, improving performance, and collaborating on updates that impact real users. Ideal for students passionate about AI-accelerated mobile app development with React Native and backend tools like Supabase.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage AI coding assistants to contribute to new features and improvements in ULimo’s live React Native app, generating code snippets, automating component creation, and ensuring cross-platform compatibility.
  • Build and refine AI-enhanced UI/UX components with React Native, using generative tools to prototype dynamic interfaces and personalize user experiences for ride-sharing.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, integrating Supabase via AI-optimized queries and automation scripts for seamless data handling, real-time updates, and intelligent feature logic.
  • Employ AI-driven tools for debugging, automated testing, and performance optimization across iOS and Android, predicting issues and scaling app efficiency.
  • Work closely with design and product teams, translating Figma mockups into production-ready features using AI for rapid iteration, code refactoring, and accessibility enhancements.
  • Participate in app update cycles with AI-assisted deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth rollouts, scalability, and proactive monitoring for user-facing innovations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile development, amplified by AI tools for code generation and workflow acceleration.
  • Familiarity with APIs, authentication, and backend integration (Supabase or similar), with bonus points for AI integrations like ML APIs or vector search.
  • Proven skills in AI-powered debugging, problem-solving, and version control (Git/GitHub), including using LLMs for code reviews and optimizations.
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with design and product teams, with a track record of experimenting with AI in agile mobile projects.
