This position at NextEra Energy Resources is part of their Power Generation Engineering Operations Support & Services team and is a paid Engineering Operations Internship in Engineering, based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. It's for students pursuing bachelor's or master's degrees in Engineering from ABET-accredited programs, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and lasts for an internship period. Interns will support development of equipment condition assessment tracking and risk management procedures, analyze power generation equipment data from renewable or fossil fueled power plants using data analytics tools like Excel, Python, or Matlab, and work with equipment experts to analyze and troubleshoot equipment problems using new and existing techniques. This role provides hands-on experience in Engineering within the wholesale electricity generation sector and is ideal for students interested in power generation operations, data analytics, and equipment reliability.
