BioRESEARCH Associates Inc. is a medical device manufacturer looking to hire a full-time full-stack software engineer. Education or experience in developing software with state-of-the-art user-interface, wireless communication, database management, and data analysis tools is required. Experience with documentation and working with a team is preferred, but we encourage all conscientious detail-oriented individuals to apply.

Preferred Education
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering computer science, related field, or acceptable equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of [3] years of experience in software engineering, computer science or acceptable equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in software engineering, computer science or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with User Experience principles.
- Preferably some familiarity with regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485 for medical devices.
- Experience in the medical device industry, particularly dental measurement software, is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement software solutions for dental measurement applications.
- Maintain and update existing BioPAK software to improve functionality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the new product engineering team consisting of design engineers, regulatory engineers, and other software engineers as part of the new product development team.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and quality.
- Adhere to strict quality standards and regulatory requirements for medical device software through the utilization of standards such as ISO/IEEE 11073-20601.
- Provide technical customer support to customers as needed as a supporting member of the complaint handling unit (CHU), under the “Software Engineer” role.
- Provide technical support as a supporting member of the CAPA review board (CRB), under the “Software Engineer” role
Special Skills/Authorities
- Strong programming skills in relevant languages primarily C and C++.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies primarily Agile (i.e. waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Understanding of medical device regulations such as FDA regulations and ISO standards.
- Ability to handle and secure confidential patient data with great care.
