Civil Engineering Co-op/Intern
Passero Associates’ St. Augustine Office has an exciting paid Civil Engineering Co-op/Intern opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil engineering site design projects using the latest industry software and technology, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, UAS drones, and 3D visualization. Gain experience toward a professional career in Civil Engineering through collaborative work with other engineers, planners, and surveyors on aviation, municipal and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design airfield projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Site development design for aviation, municipal and commercial projects
- Write technical documentation (specifications and engineer’s reports) in MS Word.
- Perform construction quantity takeoffs and prepare engineer’s construction cost estimates.
- Attend project meetings and perform site visits with project manager or project engineer, as needed.
- Field inspections and reports
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Pursuing BS degree in Civil Engineering / Civil-related field
- Available Summer 2026, open to part-time or full-time schedule.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license; personal vehicle
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D a plus
- Prior civil engineering co-op/intern experience, a plus
