Corporate Communications Intern

As a Corporate Communications Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across a range of functions including brand marketing, public relations, content marketing, social media, internal communications, and corporate social responsibility. 

 

Why This Role Is Exciting:

This internship offers a unique opportunity to build a diverse skill set with a focus on creating meaningful contributions that will extend beyond their time here by managing the intern community on our company intranet and working with their intern class to create content that can be used on MH corporate social and webpages to assist in recruiting for the 2027 intern class.​

 

This is a 10-week summer internship from June 8th – August 21st and is a remote internship. Candidates need to currently be pursuing a degree within the United States.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for our company intranet and corporate social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and posts. 
  • Community Management: Engage with our employees, participate in online conversations, and help us foster a positive and active online employee community. This also includes identifying content that can be used to support our corporate Daily Newsletter.
  • Giving Back: Help plan and promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, working on projects that give back to the community during the Back-to-School giving season.
  • Public Relations: Assist in developing outreach materials and supporting efforts to share key company initiatives.
  • Campaign Support: Work across the team to help organize and advance annual campaigns and projects that promote our goals and brand.
  • Collaborative Brainstorming: Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and contribute fresh ideas to drive our brand forward.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.​
  • Basic skills in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).​
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and professionally.​
  • Confidence and competence in networking and building relationships with peers, influencers, and industry professionals.​
  • Innovative thinking with a knack for generating fresh ideas and engaging content that resonates with target audiences.

The pay range for this position is between $18-$20/hour. However, the pay offered may vary depending on degree pursuing, knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
