Who We Are
Camp Weequahic is a premier summer camp in Northeastern Pennsylvania specializing in creating unforgettable experiences for children through sports, adventure, creativity, and connection.
But we’re more than just fun facilitators — we’re passionate about personal and professional growth. Our Recreation Internship is designed to give you hands-on experience in activity design,  leadership, risk management, and participant engagement — all while developing real-world skills you can apply in recreation, education, and leadership careers.
We also offer structured practicum opportunities, allowing students to meet academic requirements, earn credit, and document applied learning in a professional recreation environment.

Students seeking practicum credit can work with their universities to structure hours and learning outcomes that align with academic requirements.

- Open to feedback, personal growth, and teamwork
