Business Development Intern

ACCIONA Energía is looking for a Business Development Intern to join our North America team and support the development of solar, wind, and battery storage projects. This is a great opportunity for juniors and seniors to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector, with the potential for full-time employment after graduation.

 

What You’ll Do:

Research renewable energy companies, markets, and transmission operators; prepare reports and presentations.

Manage and update GIS files and mapping products.

Coordinate with other departments to provide and respond to information requests.

Organize files, maintain databases, and assist with documentation.

Help prepare permit applications and project drawings.

Support monthly reporting for development projects.

Contribute to general business development tasks.

Participate in company events and networking activities.

What We’re Looking For:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Physical or Social Sciences, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (targeted to juniors and seniors).

Highly motivated, with strong initiative and a passion for renewable energy.

Adaptable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

 

Acciona Internship Program 

 

As part of the Acciona Internship Program, you'll be assigned specific projects and goals, carefully defined by your manager, to apply your field of study through hands-on experience. 

 

You’ll also have the chance to connect with fellow interns during fun activities, such as a site visit to our Wind and PV facility, a summer company outing, and weekly intern lunches every Friday. You'll be part of our vibrant Chicago office community, where you can participate in various events and wellness activities open to all employees.

Interns will work 40 hours a week, on-site in the Chicago office.
