About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Co-op to join our dynamic HR team. This year-round, hybrid opportunity is ideal for a college student looking to gain hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop professional skills in a global business environment. This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham, Michigan that reports to the Global HR Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze employee engagement data and translate insights into compelling presentation materials for leadership.

Support annual HR processes such as talent assessment and performance management cycles, benefits open enrollment and compensation planning.

Lead and support continuous improvement and process development projects to advance global HR Operations.

Assist with talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system updates, and employee communications.

Maintain and manage employee data in HR systems with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

Process definition and continuous improvement for HR administration activities ensuring timely and accurate handling in coordination with finance.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Sophomore standing or higher with an expected graduation date of Spring 2026 or later. 

Seeking high performing students with strong GPAs of 3.0 or above, who are completing 12 or more credits during regular semesters. 

Availability to work at least 20 hours per week during the academic year, with increased availability during summer months.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
