Renewables Business Development Intern
Job Description Summary
ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Business Development Intern to support our North American business development team on new solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects. This role offers juniors and seniors from local universities an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the renewable energy industry, with the potential for full-time employment after graduation.
What You’ll Do:
Research renewable energy companies, markets, and transmission operators; prepare summaries and presentations.
Manage GIS files and create mapping products.
Coordinate with other departments to provide and respond to information requests.
Maintain databases and organize project files.
Support preparation of permit applications and drawings.
Assist with monthly development project reporting.
Contribute to general business development tasks and participate in company events and networking activities.

What We’re Looking For:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Physical Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (targeted to juniors and seniors).
Highly motivated with strong initiative and a passion for quality work.
Adaptable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Interest in renewable energy and business development.
Acciona Internship Program
As part of the Acciona Internship Program, you'll be assigned specific projects and goals, carefully defined by your manager, to apply your field of study through hands-on experience.
You’ll also have the chance to connect with fellow interns during fun activities, such as a site visit to our Wind and PV facility, a summer company outing, and weekly intern lunches every Friday.
