Lead Development Intern (Mandarin Speaking)

Job Title:
Mandarin-Speaking Lead Development Intern (Remote or Onsite in Salt Lake City)

About Us:
We are a fast-growing restaurant technology company helping independent restaurants thrive with online ordering, marketing, and growth tools. Our sales team relies on accurate data to connect with restaurant owners in the right language, and we need your help to make that possible.

Role Overview:
We’re looking for detail-oriented, Mandarin-speaking interns to support our sales pipeline. You’ll be responsible for contacting restaurants, confirming the owner’s preferred language (Mandarin or English) along with other useful prospecting and marketing related data and updating our CRM. This is not a sales or closing role—it’s about research, outreach, and data accuracy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Call restaurants to identify whether the owner speaks Mandarin or English.
  • Record accurate language preference and contact details in our system.
  • Send short bilingual emails/texts when needed to confirm language preference.
  • Verify business info (owner name, email, phone, social profiles).
  • Ask several easy questions that help us to identify ideal customer profiles.
  • Provide feedback on trends you notice in the lead pool.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Native or fluent Mandarin and solid English communication skills.
  • Comfortable making phone calls and asking direct questions.
  • Organized, detail-focused, and reliable with data entry.
  • No sales experience required—but confidence on the phone is key.
  • Current college student, recent graduate, or H4/EAD work-authorized candidate preferred.

Perks:

  • Flexible hours (10–20 hrs/week).
  • Remote-friendly.
  • Hands-on experience with a U.S.-based SaaS sales team.
  • Opportunity to grow into future sales or operations roles.

Compensation:

  • $15–20/hour depending on experience and location.
